These finely crafted wood soap dishes are the perfect way for packaging your artisan soap gift! Simply place your soap on the dish and wrap! The finest grain cedar was used for these decks and they are 100% natural - no varnishes of any kind! The natural properties of cedar will help protect it in wet environments.
These dishes measure 3 inches by 4-1/8 inches by approximately 3/8" inch thick - plenty large enough for handcrafted Soap! The top planks are approximately 1/8" thick.
To extend the life of your soap dish, you can use the soap dish in pairs. Use one dish for 2-3 weeks and then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth. Set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the 2d dish for 2-3 weeks while the first is drying - and then alternate them. Allowing dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent mold & mildew and it will prevent the wood from becoming waterlogged & rotting. This will greatly increase the life of your dish!!
